Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

I am an Art-Designer with more than 25 years experience in Press and Online Media. My passion is design whether it is logos, flypapers, leaflets, and banners. With Global Woman I get to express myself creatively in so many ways and more recently I have teaching the Art of Design to the next generation of Designers.

I know IT people may sound boring sometimes, but I always have seen outside the box. With design at my core, my evolution has followed a path less travelled from animation, print and digital media to user experience. My discovery of UX at a later stage in my career transformed my life, it nourished my urge to explore human psychology and persuasion. So, I have invested so much in my self-development. That’s why when the opportunity came to work with Global Woman I felt ready.

Global Woman helped me to see a whole new world in many ways, and I enjoyed travelling to new cities and countries and making time to see a little of each place. I have edited Global Woman magazine, managed events, and a network of clubs globally, and edited some of the books published. It has been a fascinating experience and along the way, I gained a greater understanding of women in business and in networking, and many well known names on the “speaker circuit”. This transformed in 2020 due to Covid from hotel venues and stages globally to webinars and Zoom presentations. The word so often used in 2020 was “pivot”. Who knows what the future holds? What I do know is that agility is now an essential, not a desirable.
