A few months ago I said yes when I was invited to have a Tedx speech. In the last 10 years I have had the chance to speak all over the world and in front of thousands of people but as you may see I am feeling very nervous here. I am glad I did it. This speech is all about finding your seat, your path, your purpose, your place and standing in your power.

It’s the first time I shared my past story so openly and I was not sure I was ready to do it. But as they say: feel the fear and do it anyway.

This speech reminded me a lot of my past which I have tried to delete, but in the end we all know it is part of us, and it’s the reason we are who we are.

This speech reminded me how much my life has changed and how grateful I should be for this amazing transformational journey and all the people who have supported me to reach this destination.

The truth is that: “We stand where we sit”, that’s why In order to change your life we need to find our seat! It took so long for me to visualize that seat and start searching for it, but once I realized that it’s up to me to find it, I didn’t stop exploring.

In this speech I share not only my story but also my philosophy of building a global success. As an immigrant woman, single mother, with no money and very little English, I show how this can be possible for every woman.

Many women who watched this video told me they were in tears and inspired at the same time. It’s going viral and I am so excited and grateful to be able to reach so many people. It’s my dream come true. It looks so surreal and incredible how much we human beings can progress and change our life for the better. During my talk I shared 4 steps on how to take yourself into a transformational journey and I thought I would share these steps with you. This is exclusive, immediately after the release of my TEDx talk so you are first to read it.

These 4 steps can enable you to find your seat, because when you are aligned with yourself everything you have been seeking comes and finds you!  Truly!

The four steps are:

  • Explorer
  • Achiever
  • Influencer
  • Contributor

First of all wake up, because the world is divided into people who sleep and people who are awake. Only when you are awake you are able to see things that before didn’t make sense to you.

The fact that you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it is not there.!

This is why you need to become an Explorer.

But how do you help yourself to wake up?

First you need to realize that something is missing, then you identify it and locate it.

Then you need to claim it.

I started my awakening journey by reading many books which open my eyes to see.

I remember when I read Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat Pray Love I felt so liberated.

Elizabeth had a calling for something bigger than herself and started exploring – she traveled three different countries to search for meaning.

Everything started having a different meaning. You know, things are difficult until they become easy.  It became so easy for me to take action because I felt enlightened.

If she managed to find it, so could I – and so can you!

Remember, findings belong to those who search. So you have to become an explorer.

The Achiever

As you keep searching you will realise that you start becoming wiser.  You have more knowledge.

But remember, knowledge has no value unless you apply it, because the knowledge doesn’t apply itself.

By taking action you gain experience and now you feel you have achieved something.

As you gain more experience, more knowledge and more skills you become an expert. You now have value!

The Influencer

At this point your job is to start sharing your knowledge with others. This is the turning point! That is the momentum when you feel worth, because you start influencing other people.

You feel you can serve and that is such a wonderful feeling.

The modern day definition of an influencer is a person who inspires and guides others into action.

As I kept searching, I read the book “Rich Dad, Poor dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. That was another big shock for me, as I remember reading it all night, and the next morning I resigned. That book inspired me to start my own business and this is what I call: change your life overnight.

You have no idea how easily we can be influenced. It can be a book, a story, a simple quote… Look for the signs, stay awake and you will see them.

Who is your influencer? It doesn’t need to be a famous celebrity, it could be anyone. You may be a positive influence for someone else.

And lastly the Contributor

Here is the thing.

We all do what we do because we are looking for something bigger than ourselves.

I have interviewed hundreds of women around the world trying to understand what they want…

And I ask them: Are you looking for survival, for success or significance?

They all tell me they are looking for that significance and recognition.

Something to contribute, to add value, and when you get to this point you feel you have come for a reason on this planet.

But how do we get It?

We are all looking to find a seat where we can stand. A seat that empowers us and gives us strength to empower others.

That’s why as we come to a higher level of consciousness we want to contribute to the planet and make this world a better place to live in.

This is why many of you are here today.

You may say, hey but “I am a nobody, I am invisible”

This is where I was when I started and the good news is:

It doesn’t matter where you are coming from, what matters is where you are going.

And at the end, the point of the journey is not arriving in your seat, but WHO you have become on that journey and HOW you use your seat.
