Inspirational Woman of the Year Award 2015
I have been honoured to receive the prestigious award “Inspirational Woman of the Year Award 2015” for Human Rights
On Saturday 12th December, at the iconic Landmark Hotel in London, Mirela Sula was the chosen recipient of the prestigious “Inspirational Woman of the Year 2015” Award for her work in Human Rights.
The “Inspiration Awards for Women” event celebrates the achievements of, and gives recognition to, exceptional women who are dedicated to important causes that make a positive difference in the world. Along with promoting a positive image of women and acknowledging dynamic role models, the event also raises funds for the ‘Breakthrough Breast Cancer’ charity.
Despite only being in the UK for three years, Mirela has achieved an enormous amount of success and is an inspiration to women everywhere. In addition to her outstanding work at “Solace Women’s Aid’ whilst studying for her PhD on domestic violence, Mirela is also Editor-in-Chief of her own outstanding women’s magazine ‘Global Woman’. She is a published writer and has organised a lot of inspiring events, including a successful conference in London in 2015 to celebrate the achievements of Migrant Women everywhere. Mirela, who also holds a Masters’ Degree in ‘Psychology and Counselling’, has helped numerous women to overcome their problems, insecurities and fears in many different scenarios.
Mirela was selected by the event judges and from the public vote to receive this prestigious award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to human rights and received rapturous applause when the judge’s decision was announced.
After receiving her award Mirela commented; “Thank you to everyone who believed in my mission and thank you “Inspiration Awards for Women” for giving me this special Award. Thank you also to everyone who voted for me. What an inspiring evening! I’m so humbled to have been in the presence of so many other inspirational women!”
